*** DEADLINE: JULY 31, 2019***

Have you seen the headlines lately?… It’s bad…
And regardless of your political inclination, women at the border are in urgent help of immediate HOPE and COMPASSION.
They are currently the most marginalized group in America, this is why we are coming for them, and we want to send ONE THOUSAND bags to help the migrant women in transit.

What do we need

For this specific campaign, we urgently need the following TRAVEL SIZE supplies

- Clean makeup bags.
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Soap
- Lotion
- and of course, personalized encouraging notes.

We encourage people to look at what they have at home first, and see if you can share what you have.
Additionally, we are also donating the following items:
- Deodorant
- Hair ties
- Shoe laces
- Travel size wipes
- Travel size First Aid Kit
- Sanitary pads

These items will not be included in the bags, but we will donate to the respite center for them to distribute freely.

If you want to purchase items, we suggest you shop on amazon and ship them to us.
We found these super cheap toothbrush/toothpaste kit (100 for less than $30)
these 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner (50 for $14) or (200 for $40)
or these soaps, 100 for around $20

[The estimated value of each kit is $7.
You can donate the estimated value of a kit below via Paypal
or shop from our Amazon wishlist, and ship directly to us.

As soon as we reach 1,000 we will send the bags.
If we don’t gather 1,000 by August 1st 2019, we will send what we have.
If we gather 1,000 before August 1st, then it would be even better, so we can reach that center in even less time.
After that deadline, any help we get will go towards our current efforts with other marginalized group of women.

Where are these bags going?

This batch of bags is going to 2 different organizations, one is Valley Humanitarian Respite Center, and the other is Border Perspective, Both are based in McAllen Texas.

The respite center provides a place for the countless men, women, children and infant refugees to rest, have a warm meal, shower and change into clean clothing.
Refugees also receive medicine and other supplies, before continuing onto their journey.
According to the director of this center, approximately 400 to 600 people go through this center daily, and about half of this number are women.

Border Perspective works alongside local Pastors, non-profit organizations, and the local church year round, providing basic needs to immigrants and everyone along the border.
