Event: Dialogues From The Border

October 2nd, 2019
6022 Broad St. Pittsburgh, PA 15206 [Repair The World]

You are cordially invited to attend a free, and open to the public, talk.
In this talk, I will be sharing the outcome of our first campaign, where we took close to 5k shower kits to the border, and where I was confronted face to face with the oppression of a system hurting the most vulnerable of people.

The talk will be divided into an Introduction plus 3 segments, each with a Q/A section.

INTRO: About Worth Manifesto: A segment to explain what the heck is Worth Manifesto, and how did we get here.
Border: A segment to help you understand the sociopolitical aspects of South Texas.
Victims: A segment to share the reality of the bridge, and the Remain In Mexico Policy.
Activism: A segment to show you ways to advocate for asylum seekers.

In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to bring donations for Worth Manifesto (see below the list of items needed), and write encouraging cards for women in vulnerable condition (including cards for asylum seeking migrants)
